FAMILY PROMISE
MULTI-COUNTY AWARENESS

Family Promise addresses the ever-growing issue of homelessness, especially with a focus on families and children. Family Promise needed an awareness campaign for their primary fundraiser, "Cardboard City." Playing off of the fact that cardboard literally becomes home for those without one, a large-scale sculpture of the word H-O-M-E was made out of cardboard boxes and screen printed with facts and statistics about homelessness and other messages about the solutions Family Promise can provide those in need.

The piece was built to be dismantled and reassembled in order to be portable. It was set up in key traffic areas around Jacksonville and became the subject of Facebook posts and video uploads for months before the fundraising event. The funds raised were record setting for the organization.
